Your data stays on your device. Full stop.
Pitbox Moto is a motorcycle service records and garage management app built by Poolside Studios. We designed it from the ground up to work entirely on your device — no accounts, no cloud sync, no data collection.
Zero personal data collected. Zero personal data transmitted. Your bikes, your service history, your mileage — all of it lives exclusively on your iPhone and nowhere else. The app's only network request is an anonymous settings check (section 04) that sends nothing about you or your garage.
Nothing.
We do not collect, store, or process any personal information. Here is what that means in plain terms:
- No name, email address, or contact information is ever requested or stored.
- No location data is accessed or tracked.
- No analytics, usage statistics, or behavioral data is gathered.
- No crash reporting or diagnostics data is sent to any server.
- No advertising identifiers or tracking cookies are used.
- No account creation is required — or possible.
Yours, completely.
All data you enter into Pitbox Moto — bike profiles, service records, fuel logs, costs, notes, photos — is stored locally on your device using Apple's built-in storage frameworks.
This data never leaves your device through us. It is not backed up to us — we operate no servers that store user data. If you use Apple's iCloud Backup, that data may be included in your personal iCloud backup under Apple's privacy policy — but that is between you and Apple, not us.
If you delete the app, all data is deleted with it. We have no copy and no way to recover it.
No third-party SDKs. No trackers.
Pitbox Moto does not include any third-party analytics libraries, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks. There are no hidden integrations that could send your data anywhere.
Anonymous settings check. At launch, the app downloads one small static settings file (feature configuration, such as free-tier limits) from our content host over HTTPS. This is a plain download — the request carries no personal data, no identifiers, and nothing about you, your device, or your garage, and nothing from the app is stored on the host. If the check fails or you're offline, the app simply carries on with its saved settings.
Beyond that, the only external services the app interacts with are Apple's: the App Store for purchase verification (if you unlock a paid feature) and Apple Maps if you use the fuel-station lookup. Those interactions are handled entirely by Apple under their own privacy policy.
Safe for all ages by design.
Since we collect no personal information from anyone, there is nothing to distinguish about users of any age. Pitbox Moto does not collect data from children or adults.
If anything changes, you'll know.
If we ever update this privacy policy in a way that affects how your data is handled, we will update this page and revise the effective date at the top. Given the nature of the app, we do not anticipate meaningful changes — but we are committed to being transparent if anything shifts.
